Intelligence & Analysis.
Trace Vantage brings entity resolution, network analysis, organised-crime mapping, communications, financial and geospatial intelligence into one governed environment. Analysis is designed to support the investigator's judgement, never to replace it: findings carry their provenance forward, and human review is required before any assessment is acted upon.
Some capabilities are native to the platform. Others depend on approved connectors or on data sources a force is lawfully authorised to use. Every capability that draws on an external source is labelled, so it is always clear what is built in and what is subject to force policy.
Three availability labels.
Native capability
Built into the platform and available on installation, running entirely within the force environment.
Available integration
Provided through an approved connector to a system or service the force already operates or licenses.
Requires approved data source
Depends on an external feed, subject to lawful authority, jurisdiction and force policy.
Built into the platform.
Entity resolution, network analysis and organised-crime mapping run natively inside the force environment. They operate on the data the force already holds, without reliance on any external service.
Entity resolution Native capability
Resolve people, organisations, accounts, devices and locations across a case into candidate records, with match reasoning shown for review. Designed to support the analyst; resolution decisions are confirmed by a human before they are relied upon.
Link & network analysis Native capability
Explore relationships across entities, communications and events as an interactive graph. Shortest paths, shared connections and clusters are surfaced to guide enquiry, with every edge traceable back to its source material.
OCG & gang mapping Native capability
Map organised-crime groups, roles, nominals and affiliations, with intelligence grading carried on each assessment. Structure is presented for supervisory review, not asserted as fact.
Three native capabilities, built for review.
Alongside the core tools, three capabilities run natively on the data the force already holds. Each is built as an overlay for supervisory review, keeps its evidence so a signal can be checked rather than believed, and exports its own disclosure pack.
Cross-case entity resolution Native capability
Surface where a subject or identifier recurs across separate cases, ranked by confidence tier, for a supervisor to confirm or reject. It is a reviewable overlay that never mutates the source record, and it exports its own disclosure pack.
Pattern-of-life analysis Native capability
Build a subject's pattern of life from location artefacts using geofencing and multi-device intersection on lawfully held data. Governed throughout and exported with a methodology-backed disclosure PDF, it supports a human assessment rather than asserting a movement as fact.
Social graph builder Native capability
Run-to-run monitoring snapshots show new and dropped connections over time, cluster labels are suggested by AI and confirmed under supervisory approval, and a correlator emits authorised evidence from already-ingested communications, device, ANPR and CCTV data, never a live network call.
Communications, financial and crypto analysis.
These capabilities work through approved connectors to systems and services a force already operates or licenses. They are available where the connector is in place and configured under force control.
Communications-data handling Available integration
Ingest and normalise lawfully obtained communications data into a single timeline for pattern and contact analysis, via approved connectors. Handled under force policy, with the lawful basis recorded against the material.
Financial analysis Available integration
Bring transaction and account data into the case through approved connectors to interrogate flows, counterparties and timelines. Designed to support financial investigators; outputs require human review.
Crypto-asset analysis Available integration
Trace and cluster on-chain activity using approved blockchain-analytics connectors, mapping addresses and transfers into the wider entity picture where authorised.
Geospatial, maritime, air and open sources.
These capabilities depend on external feeds. Each is available only where the force holds a lawful basis and an approved source, subject to lawful authority, jurisdiction and force policy.
Geospatial intelligence Requires approved data source
Place events, movements and locations onto a shared map to support pattern-of-life analysis. Reliant on approved location and mapping sources, subject to lawful authority, jurisdiction and force policy.
Maritime & air intelligence Requires approved data source
Correlate vessel and aircraft movement against the case picture where an approved maritime or aviation feed is connected, subject to lawful authority, jurisdiction and force policy.
Advertising-derived & dark-web sources Requires approved data source
Incorporate advertising-derived location intelligence or dark-web material only where a force is lawfully authorised to acquire it, subject to lawful authority, jurisdiction and force policy, and always under human review.
Reading the labels. Native capability is built into the platform and runs inside the force environment on installation. Available integration is delivered through an approved connector to a system or service the force already operates. Requires approved data source depends on an external feed and is available only where the force holds the appropriate lawful basis and approved access. No capability guarantees a particular result: analysis is designed to support investigative judgement, is used only where authorised, and requires human review before it informs a decision.
